Ann Hanson
Ann
Hanson has chronicled the western lifestyle for more than twenty five
years. Her subjects are friends and neighbors going about their daily
business. She has participated in national shows including Cowgirl Up!
in Wickenburg, Arizona; the Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show;
the Heart of the West in Fort Worth, Texas; and the Settlers West
Miniature Show in Tucson, Arizona. Awards include the 1990 William E.
Weiss Award at the Buffalo Bill Art Show. Her work has been featured in
Art of the West, American Artist, Southwest Art, Cowboys and
Indians, American Cowboy and Horses in Art magazines. Her painting,
"Cayde and CO." was featured on the cover of Western Horseman in
February, 2011.
