Deborah Copenhaver-Fellows
Deborah Copenhaver Fellows was ranch raised in northern Idaho and grew up with a passion for horses and an avid interest in art. Her background is a vital aspect of her art. In childhood she drew and painted mostly horses. Upon entering college she was inspired to pursue a career in sculpture. Deborah created veteran memorials, including the Inland Northwest Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Montana State Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Washington State Korean War Memorial. She created monumental portrait sculptures of Bing Crosby, Adolph Coors, Henry Kaiser, Frank Irwin, and the Boy Scouts of America. Deborah was elected to lifetime membership in the National Sculpture Society in 2009.
