Kathy Wipfler
Originally from rural central California, Kathy Wipfler moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 1979 to learn to paint en plein air. A twenty four-year caretaking position with a wonderful Jackson Hole rancher and international polo player has given her the opportunity to ride some of the ranges and ranches of Teton and Sublette Counties. Her work is included in many regional shows and collections, including the permanent collection at the Whitney Gallery of Western Art. She and her husband have recently finished building a home and painting studio in Jackson Hole.
