Nicholas Coleman
"The only way to depict a subject with any authority is to thoroughly study it at length," Nicholas Coleman says. Art is an extension of his interest in natural history and the outdoors. His influences include Carl Rungius, Frank Tenney Johnson, Thomas Moran, and Maynard Dixon. He was invited to show his work at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin, the Master's of the American West Show at the Autry Museum, and the Coors Western Show in Denver. Museum collections include the Anschutz Collection in Denver, the Bennington Center for the Arts in Vermont, and Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum.
