Phil Starke
Phil Starke became interested in art as a child living in Europe where he enjoyed the works of great masters in the museums of Italy and Germany. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art, Chicago Illinois. Phil lives in Tucson and paints throughout the southwest. He had the cover art and a featured article in “Southwest Art” in November 2001and a featured article in Art of the West magazine in April 2009. Phil is an artist member of the Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson.
