The two starbursts are representative of the genetics of the Nightjar family. The arcs symbolize migration routes & the success or failure of an individual to complete the circle of life. One member of this family, the Poorwill, is the only bird in the world that hibernates. The Hopi discovered this centuries ago & call it, ‘The Sleeping One’.
