Miniature Art Auction

On Wednesday, August 21st, the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale opens with a reception at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and is complementary to the public.

There will be a presentation of winners for the art show awards, as well as, two exhibits for patron’s enjoyment. The wall sale for the Scout Miniature exhibit is in the breezeway of the Firearms Museum. The exhibit is both sculpture and paintings by some of our well known western artists who participate in the September Live Auction. Also, on exhibit will be pedestals built by some of our Cody Western Furniture Artisans. The other exhibit is in the John Bunker Sands Gallery.  All the art in that gallery will be auctioned at the Friday night event on September 20 in the Party Tent next to the Center.

This event should not be missed. It will be a great opportunity to purchase fine art of a smaller scale at the miniature exhibit, enjoy an evening at the Center, and meet and greet some of our local artists who are in the Live Auction Sale in September.

Both exhibits are open and free to the public until the high energy auction and gala occur on September 20.
